Steve contacted me on facebook and suggested I check out this website, and the first thing I see is the passing of Helen. I am so sorry for her husband and family and my thoughts go out to all of Helen's loved ones and friends. I knew Helen in her youth as a very funny, wonderously patient, and attractive friend and former wife of my best friend Jeff. Of course, wonderously patient applied mostly to anyone who delt with Jeff and I when we enjoyed each other company. I hope I am able to connect with friends down the road at the next gathering. I am grateful to contacts through choir, musical performances, and Mr. Petersen's classes for going a long way in shaping my life. I am a drama and english teacher, I enjoy writing, and perform in regional equity musical theatre still. It's grand to see some of the old faces that made it to the last reunion. I hope you are all still well, and singing and laughing.
John,
Thank you for your beautiful words about Helen. She was my dearest friend, and I miss her greatly. She taught all of us who were blessed to know her how to live with love every moment of life, and to treasure each connection we have.
Wishing you and all our classmates lives of peace and joy and a remembrance that today is all that is promised.
